Roslindale Village Bicycle Corral
A recurring theme in the opposition to better cycling infrastructure involves merchants' objection to the removal of on-street parking spaces. However, research shows that customers arriving by bike spend more than customers arriving by car, and 10 bicycles fit in same space as one car.
To make this point, we teamed up with Roslindale Village Main Street to create a DIY bicycle corral and install it in a neighborhood commercial center so merchants could experience the benefits of cycling firsthand.
